KOMPANY Interview- Icon Collective, tour with Bear Grillz
LA-based DJ/producer emerged from anonymity in 2017 to deliver promising and expertly crafted bass music to a global audience. Kompany got his start as a drummer, which helped him first develop an ear for rhythm – a crucial foundation to have for any electronic dance music producer. He went on to attend Icon Collective, the same music school that gave us Jauz, Sullivan King, and many other big names in the industry. After graduating, he landed a job as a sound designer at Cymatics, where he dived deeper into the realm of production. Today, the artist has embarked on a major bus tour with Bear Grillz, PhaseOne, and Dirt Mokey, released several EPs, remixes, and original singles, and has solidified a spot for himself in the world of bass music.
