Viceroy originally hails from Connecticut . Viceroy first started getting into making music in 2009 while he was studying abroad in Rome . He drunkenly asked a manager at a club one night for a job, and they gave him live sets on Tuesday nights. From their, Viceroy quickly learned how to use Ableton .
Viceroy rose in popularity on SoundCloud with his “Jet Life” series which featured R&B remixes of R. Kelly’s “Ignition,” Nelly’s “Ride Wit Me,” and Ginuwine’s “Pony,” and given each song a whole different, upbeat electronic aesthetic. We chat about his life since then with his restaurant business and not staying stagnant in his music style.
