AUSTIN BROWN Interview- surgery at a young age, anxiety moving to LA, trying to be taken seriously
“The tubes in my ears didn’t open up. They usually open up when you’re a toddler.”
Austin Brown grew up in Central Oregon and his parents always recognized his interest in music. As a young kid, his ear tubes never fully developed and he was hard of hearing. His parents always noticed that he wouldn’t react when they spoke to him, but he always reacted to music… because he could feel the beats and rhythms. Once he had surgery to have his ear tubes opened he could be found singing in his basement, on his stairwell, literally anywhere. He recently moved to LA to pursue his dreams and can’t wait to start releasing his music. Since then he has garnered 360K followers on Instagram and has released In Betweenin’ on Spotify.
